Description: 

This training is for anyone utilizing the RISE, RISE Modified, or other teacher evaluation tools. Anyone that will serve as an evaluator will need to be trained. TOPICS to be addressed include the following:

• Review the law and RISE process
• Understand what quality evidence is and looks like
• Practice note taking during observations
• Map observation notes to the RISE rubric
• Learn about some best practices in feedback

Any leader/evaluator utilizing the RISE, RISE Modified, or other teacher evaluation tools.

 

Event Cancellation Policy

• Registrants who notify NIESC of their cancellation on or before the registration deadline date will not be required to pay the registration fee.
• Registrants who cancel after the registration deadline but one week before the workshop date or call to cancel on the day of the workshop, will pay 50% of the registration fee.
• Registrants who neglect to call or notify NIESC of their cancellation will be responsible for paying the full registration fee.
• On official school corporation weather-related cancellation days, registrants will not be required to pay registration fees.
• Registrants attending a free event who do not cancel within the week before the event will be charged a no-show fee of $25.
